The Element of Play® program helped me make my first contact with the children when I started working at the Community Support Center and to get inspiration from their play. Today, when I am more experienced, I am confident in using the resources of the program to help children and parents when they have problems without feeling guided and evaluated. It is of great importance to me that this opportunity for child development and support reaches more and more children who live in poverty and are left without education at this vital stage for their development.
Fulia is the youngest ambassador of the Element of Play® program. Since 2017, she has been tirelessly studying and developing how to implement the program in hard-to-reach and remote settlements in the municipality of Novi pazar. She is the driving force behind a new initiative – the children she works with to connect with their peers from the United States through drawings, photos, and videos. Fulia embodies the hope that many young people prefer social work and dedicate their hearts to working with vulnerable communities.
